Being neurodivergent poses its own health challenges.

Women with ‘ADHD’ are more affected by hormone fluctuations, which interact with neurotransmitters in an already dopamine deficient brain. Hormones affect nearly all tissues and glands of the body.

Hypermobility and related issues are often found in higher rates in neuro-divergent people. More lax collagen structures can lead not only to long term issues with joints and muscles but also with digestion and vascular health which can cause migraines and headaches.

Higher incidents of pain, conditions like fibromyalgia, heart disease and mental health are also prevalent in neurodivergents.

I have been on a long journey to recover from mineral deficiencies and hormone imbalances for many years. This journey has taken me to understand the neurodivergent body deeply.

We will work specific to your body and needs drawing on new scientific studies combined with ancient knowledge and healing techniques to find an approach that will support you holistically and appropriate for your life circumstances through the right combinations of herbs, supplements, nurtition or exercises which may include the integration of mainstream pharmaceuticals like HRT, if required.

I also work with children and there are many things one can do to support their nervous system and challenges of a growing body with natural remedies.

The experience has been …. her knowledge and care…..

Holistic Medicine

The consultation process for the ‘ADHD’ body is exactly the same as for a herbal medicine consultation.

In the first consultation we will look at your medical history from birth and then work together to find a treatment approach that is supportive to your constitution and suits your life circumstances.

The only difference is that we might discuss additional medical tests and the consideration of using other alternative and pharmaceutical prescriptions alongside herbal options.
