Plants have an amazing affect on our bodies. Modern science is now finding the same RNA strands in plant cells as in our human cells which speaks about how we have used plants for thoudands of years and they can directly influence processes in our bodies.
Amazing!
As a medical herbalist registered with NIMH I have had 5 years of rigorous scientific medical training including differential diagnosis, pharmacology, blood tests, nutrition and physical examinations.
In a typical consultation we will look at all body systems and usually advise on supplements, nutrition and life style choices.
Like in other still functioning herbal medicine systems e.g. Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine we look at a person holistically.
No prescritpion is ever the same even if two people present with the same symptoms.
Steph has been treating me since she was a student and the exceptional care she takes to understand my complex life circumstances and symptoms has been a game changer for my health.

About 1-2 months after your initial consultation we will usually schedule in a follow up to see how you are getting on with the treatment plan and if there are any problems with the combination of herbs. This is the time when we can tweak the the prescription and tell a bit better how efficacious the herbs have been.
I can then dispense more medicine for you.
Further follow ups can then be booked as and when you feel they are needed. A good spacing for follow ups is usually between 3 -6 months.
